
6th Grade Social Studies
Teacher: Robert Bruton
Conference Times: 9:55am - 10:45am Monday through Friday
Course Description: Students will be introduced to maps, graphs and charts involving many aspects of the entire world. We will discuss social characteristics of at least 34 countries around the world. Students will be able to distinguish many different social, political, economic and cultural similarities and differences. The students will be involved in many hand-on projects. The main purpose of this course is to create a fun and educational environment so the children will want to come everyday to school.
Class Expectations: Students are expected to bring all materials, be respectful towards other students, pay attention during instruction and lectures and to be on their best behavior. To sum it up: Be Respectful, Be Prepared!
Parents are welcome to come to my class anytime and stay as long as you want (just be sure to check into the MS office first).
