Out-of-District Student Transfer Applications

 
 
Current Students who transfer into Elkhart I.S.D. are encouraged to complete the form below in April of each school year, and the deadline for current transfer submission is May 1, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Please send the TEA Form to Rachell Glenn at [email protected] or fax to 903.764.2466 once the form is submitted.

Attention: New Student Transfers
 
ONLY Kindergarten students and up are allowed to transfer. 
 

  • Application Submission Period: New students wishing to transfer into Elkhart I.S.D. can begin submitting their transfer packets on May 2, 2025.

  • Application Deadline: The deadline for submitting transfer applications is June 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Parents must ensure that all pages of the application are complete and accurate.

  • Completing the Application: Each page of the application has designated sections that need to be filled out by specific individuals. Some sections are for parents to complete, while others require input from the current school administration.

  • Review Process: Incomplete applications will not be reviewed by the transfer committee. Therefore, applicants need to double-check that all sections of the application are filled out correctly before submission. Parents will be notified as soon as possible about the approval or disapproval of the transfer packet.

Prior School Withdrawal Paperwork OR EISD can request paperwork from Prior School
