Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is defined as a common sense approach to pest control that emphasizes pest damage control in ways that are effective and environmentally sensitive.  It is important for all members of our staff to understand that the control of pests in our schools is vital to the health and safety of everyone.  To accomplish this in a manner that is in agreement with the law is in everyone’s best interest.  The strategies for IPM control are outlined in this manual.
